Happy Sunday members!

Again, we've had a lot of new members this weeks so welcome aboard! We now have 900 members!

Busy week! If you haven't read yet, I put up a new news article, "Best Photo Tip I Ever Received" and it's been a hit! If you haven't read it or if you have a tip/advice to add to the article, check it out, post your and give it a

New assignment also was out this past week: The Workpalce. Check out the assignment page for info and inspiration.

I know I've fallen behind [yet again] on the submissions. Keep them coming anyways, I'll get those up sometime early this week.

Mini Game: Where I'm at, where I've been
The idea behind this mini game came from one of our members. I want you to send in one of your first image you took when you first started out in photography. Be sure to pick out one of your earliest shots! The second shot you'll be sending in is one of your more recent image. The idea here is to show where you were when you first started out and where you are today. I think this will be a great learning too and inspiration for, not only the members of PA, but for other photographer on DA--because those who enter in this mini game will be featured in a news article! So here's the rules for this:

Send in TWO thumbs. One image that is your first, one a more recent image. Be sure to pick images that show a learning curve.
Write a brief sentence or two [or three] about what you've learned, helpful tips, what you've discovered, that sort of thing.
Title your note: MINI GAME

This mini game will be open for TWO WEEKS. You'll have until July 11th to send something in. To give you an idea, here's one of my first images I did back in 2002 when I was in my second B&W class: [link] And here is one of my more recent, successful, image: [link]
